Damjan Obal is a Norway-based Product Designer and Brainster instructor and also a well-known name in the field of Design and Research Strategy.
At the moment, he designs products and experiences at Pexip (Oslo, Norway) — helping people collaborate and communicate no matter the distance or technology.
With 20 years of professional experience, Damjan walks the fine line between research and design, cracking complex challenges, and thriving in interdisciplinary teams where design meets quantitative and qualitative research.
In the field of design, he has done it all! He’s lead design teams, directed research, designed products for small and big enterprises such as Cisco, CNN, Deutsche Bahn, Mayo Clinic, Cognizant, and GVC/Entain. As an entrepreneur, he founded a VC-backed startup that helps small businesses tell their stories.
Damjan holds a PhD in human-computer interaction and is an active member of the IxDA, UXPA, and SIGCHI communities.
