Victoria Ganeva_UX/UI Design Bootcamp_Brainster

Meet Victoria Ganeva– a student from the UX/UI Design Bootcamp at Brainster and Student of the Month for April 2021.

Victoria went the extra mile with the approach in her work – showed amazing progress in a short period of time and sprinted well ahead!“- said Damjan Obal, a UX/UI Design instructor at Brainster

✨ Meet Victoria!

Brainster: What is your typical day in Brainster’s UI/UX Bootcamp?

Victoria: Rewatching the classes, working on the project and reading books related to the subjects we’re on.

Brainster: Since the Bootcamp is remote, how do you collaborate with your colleagues and instructors? What kind of support do you get from the instructors?

Victoria: We communicate daily on Slack. Also, we did a few peers to peer sessions that were super productive.

Brainster: Since you started learning, what has been the most challenging thing so far?

Victoria: Reading additional literature as there are so so many excellent books on UX out there.

Brainster: From the first class of UX/UI Design Bootcamp, I remember…

Victoria: Our first homework – What’s UX for me.

Brainster: Who are your design heroes?

Victoria: Definitely – Damjan Obal. Also, my personas – Sofia and the B2B customers :p

Brainster: According to you, which apps have the best UX design?

Victoria: I love Spotify, George Erste Bank, Revolut, Wallet.

Brainster: Any last bits of advice that you would give to potential students who want to break into UX Design in 2021?

Victoria: If you want to become a UX/UI designer from scratch, enrolling on a Bootcamp will give you structure, insights into the industry, and incredible mentors and fellow trainees to learn from. Whichever way you choose, roll up your sleeves and work hard towards your goals.
